TurnaBBout09

TurnaBBout09

Polmont Old Parish is hosting this year's TurnaBBout on Friday 20th March 2009. This year's organising committee is: John Vaughan (7th Falkirk), Rev. Lorna MacDougall (3rd Larbert), Matthew Dick (1st Polmont), Helen Anderson (2nd Polmont) and Jamie McIntosh (2nd Polmont). 2nd Polmont has a strong input into this year's TurnaBBout, which might have something to do with it being held in our Church, rather than the Town Hall! We have a Bebo page giving you all the latest news: photos, blog, YouTube video, quiz - you name it we've got it! Go to www.bebo.com/turnabbout09 Why not become a member of TurnaBBout09, then you can take the quiz or leave a wall post!
We're hoping for 700 people and it's looking to be a great night!!!!! Why not read about the first TurnaBBout in 2007 to see what we're up against!

125th Anniversary logo

The 125th Anniversary logo will be displayed
at events throughout our Anniversary year.

The next major event celebrating the 125th of the Boys' Brigade is a Tattoo (something similar to the Military Tattoo held at Edinburgh Castle). It will be held in Braehead Arena, Glasgow on 25th April 2009 and looks to be a great night! Performers include: drill; pipes, bugles and drums; Anchor Boys; Junior Section; Handbells and the Girls' Brigade! There's certainly lots on offer. Visit http://tattoo.boys-brigade.org.uk/ to book tickets and for other general information.
